Richard arriving at the Keep in Bedfordshire

Richard Reynolds, Head of Mercury Lodge, conquered a gruelling 100-mile non-stop run from London to Bedfordshire, raising an impressive £3,500 for charity. Cheered on by fellow Freemasons, his journey spanned two days, surpassing his fundraising target in support of vital causes.

Richard began his 100 mile non-stop journey at 4.00pm on Wednesday 11th September from Freemasons Hall in London’s Covent Garden. He was seen off by Nick Edwards. the Head of Bedfordshire Freemasons, and other senior Freemasons.

The £3,500 raised was far above Richard’s original £2,000 target, and will go to the MCF, which last year gave £6.8 million to more than 450 charities across England and Wales.

Richard ran through Middlesex and Hertfordshire, then visited each of the Masonic Centres in Bedfordshire, culminating at The Keep in Kempston, Bedford at approximately 7.30am on Friday 13 September.
