The Province of Buckinghamshire successfully launched their 2021 Festival Appeal in support of the Masonic Charitable Foundation at 60 Great Queen Street this October.
Freemasons and their families from the Province of Buckinghamshire have already raised the magnificent sum of £200,000 which was presented to the Foundation’s President, Richard Hone, by Buckinghamshire’s Provincial Grand Master (PGM), Gordon Robertson.
During the launch, Gordon announced a range of fundraising initiatives and upcoming events which will contribute towards achieving a fantastic Festival total when the Appeal concludes in early 2021. He also introduced a new publication called Festival Focus which will be available in the Provincial newsletter and a new website, which will help the members stay informed and up-to-date on the Festival’s successes, fundraising news and events.
Joining the MCF President at the presentation of the £200,000 donation, Chief Operating Officer Les Hutchinson said to the room of Buckinghamshire Freemasons:
“Through your kindness and generosity, you are helping the Foundation to support Masonic families facing financial hardship, barriers to education and problems accessing health and care services. With this fantastic donation, you are already giving people opportunities to live happier and healthier lives.”
