Freemasons in Cyprus have been finding out how support from the Masonic Charitable Foundation extends throughout the world.

MCF visits District Grand Lodge of Cyprus

At a meeting of the District Grand Lodge of Cyprus on 16 May, Les Hutchinson, Chief Operating Officer of the MCF, delivered an informative presentation about the range of help that the charity can provide to freemasons and their families living in Districts, including financial, health and care support.

Addressing the meeting, Les said:

All freemasons who belong to a lodge under the English Constitution are eligible for support from the MCF.  We are working hard to ensure that all Freemasons, wherever they live, know that we can help them or their families.  Since the charity was launched just three years ago, we have already helped 90 people from the Districts with grants totalling almost £300,000.

The meeting took place at the Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia and was attended by over 200 Freemasons from the island’s 17 Lodges.

Cypriot freemasons donate €5,000

Following his presentation, Les offered his thanks to Michael Hadjiconstantas, District Grand Master, and the Freemasons of Cyprus for donating €5,000 towards the work of the MCF.
