Our Children and Young People grants give disadvantaged children and young people aged 0-18 (up to 25 with additional needs) the best possible start in life. Our Later Life grants support socially isolated and lonely older people over the age of 65.

Question 2: Do you have at least one year of independently examined or audited accounts published on the Charity Commission website?*

The MCF only accepts independently examined or audited charity accounts. If you have recently merged then you will need to have one year of accounts as a merged organisation.

Question 3: Please confirm that the charity’s income in its most recent published accounts is between £500,000 and £5m*

If your income is between £25,000 and £500,000 then you may be eligible for a small grant.

The grant ends 12 months from the date of the last instalment. For example, a one year grant awarded in 2018 ends in 2019; the charity would be eligible to reapply in 2021. A two year grant awarded in 2018 ends in 2020; the charity would be eligible to reapply in 2022.
