Rahul’s story

Freemason Rahul had previously been working with an overseas business, until the contract ended when the company was nationalised in early 2025. His contract was soon terminated, leaving him in a difficult financial position.

Kim’s story

After Kim’s partner of 45 years died, she was left in a difficult financial situation and became the sole carer for her stepson – who sadly passed away just three months later.

Our Advice and Support Team (AST) helped Kim to access state benefits during this difficult time, which offered her much-needed financial stability.

Tackling isolation for young people with autism

Earlier this year, we awarded a grant of £15,000 to Spectrum Gaming, a charity dedicated to combating isolation in autistic children and young people.

Andrew and Gillian’s story

Freemason, Andrew suffers from bilateral osteoarthritis of the knee. In an effort to relieve some pressure from him and his wife, Andrew reached out to his Lodge Almoner to look into support available for them.

Andy’s story

Just before COVID hit, Andy was going through a rough patch due to various things happening in his life. He was in conversation with the Secretary of one of his lodges and it became apparent to him that Andy needed support.

Charlie’s story

Sixteen-year-old Charlie first skied at just two years old in Switzerland with his family. He was approached by GB X at the age of eight, while practicing at a snow centre in the UK. Soon after, he was accepted into the first-ever youth ski cross programme.

Twenty years of exceptional talent

In September, we invited six of these talented individuals, aged between 10-22, to visit Freemasons’ Hall, where they were filmed showcasing their talents and sharing their stories for an exciting video project to mark the anniversary of the scheme.
