Mark’s story

Mark’s story
When Mark’s health took a decline, his life was turned upside down and he struggled to get the help he needed. After leaving the hospital, Mark had been unable to receive aftercare at home when his details was misplaced. This meant that Mark’s wife, Amanda, had to undertake all of his care.

Tom and Harry’s story
Grandsons of Freemason, Harry and Tom both received financial grants from MCF that supported them through university.

Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice
Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice (GBCH) received £17,000 to improve their support for LGBTQ+ people.

Paul’s story
Paul’s daughter, Amie, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Amie and her sons had to move in with Paul and his wife for essential support.

Avril and John’s story
Avril has been caring her husband for about four years now. He has dementia, but he is also diabetic and is a double leg amputee.

Doreen’s story
Doreen was a carer for her husband for four years before he passed away in 2019 from Alzheimer’s disease. Caring for him was distressing for both of them.

Tara’s story
After Tara, daughter of a single mum, was accepted into Italia Conti theatre academy, she knew she needed to seek funding support.

Alex’s story
Alex was born with cerebral palsy. He started swimming lessons at the age of eight, he was talent spotted after just a few months.
