Theory of Change
Since the MCF was established in 2016, we have developed our grants and services to better align with the long-term strategic goals that will help us deliver our mission.
Support for local and national charities
Our support to the charity sector focuses on charities supporting on four aspects of social disadvantage for: children and young people, and people living with dementia and their carers. We deliver this support through four grant-funding programmes:
- Early Years children (aged 0 to 5 years) with a focus on poverty and neglect
- Children affected by Domestic Abuse
- Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- People living with Dementia and their carers
Our Theory of Change outlines the goals of these programmes and the evidence supporting our work in these areas.

Support for Freemasons and their families
We are currently developing a Theory of Change for our masonic support grants, which will be published in the coming months.
