A cycle of support
We are flying through the 2024-2025 financial year and are continuously searching for ways to increase the scope of our support. Ever wondered how you can help your own Province, lodge or chapter, whilst also supporting the MCF and ultimately the Freemasonry community and wider society? Read our tips below to find out how.
Go digital with the Relief Chest Scheme
As you may be aware, we are doing our best to ‘go digital’ as much as possible, for environmental benefit, donor ease, and efficiency in the process for the Relief Chest team. Changing habits can be daunting and confusing, which is why the team created a collection of easy-to-follow ‘how-to’ videos, demonstrated by the Head of Fundraising, Paul Crockett. These videos will help you learn to: register for the Relief Chest Online service, make QR code donations, submit e-voucher donations, and more. You can find the videos here.
Innovate your festival appeals through inspiring fundraising activities
Festival appeals are a vital source of funding and generate the majority of donations made to the MCF. If your Province is in festival, why not get the momentum by setting up a fundraiser, or supporting other fundraisers occurring within your Province?
We’ve recently seen a host of innovative fundraising activities including bungee jumps, mountain climbing, walking challenges, and plenty more that were all featured on the MCF’s social media channels. Get inspired by following us on social media.
Contact the Communications team
The MCF online community is continuously growing. Our social media pages and monthly newsletter are great spaces for promoting your fundraising activities and helping you gain even more engagement, and subsequently, funds towards your appeal. Do not hesitate to contact our Communications team at communications@mcf.org.uk for more information on our promotional activities.
As you may be aware, we recently introduced a new WhatsApp channel inviting anyone interested in gaining insight into our activities, both in front of and behind the scenes. If you want to be one of the first to receive MCF-related updates, join now.
The tips above cover just a handful of the ways in which you can help your Province whilst also supporting the MCF and our mission of building better lives. For more, head over to our resources page which may be useful to everyone, regardless of your masonic role.
