In April, we launched our brand new community WhatsApp channel, where followers can get a behind-the-curtain look and be the first to receive all MCF updates.

What is a WhatsApp Channel?

WhatsApp Channels is an optional, one-way broadcasting feature within WhatsApp, separate from private messaging, designed to help people follow information from individuals and organisations that are important to them. WhatsApp Channels function like a digital bulletin board, allowing users of businesses to broadcast messages to many subscribers at once.

Why should I follow the WhatsApp Channel?

Unlike our other social media channels, followers of our WhatsApp Channel will receive any and all MCF updated before anyone else.

You can expect to see posts about our latest grants, incoming Provincial news, and the impact that your donations are having on our communities. You will have behind the scenes knowledge that you can’t find anywhere else.

We are building a community of our most loyal followers, and in return they’ll have the insider scoop about our work and its impact, why wouldn’t you want to be a part of it?

How do I find it?

It’s simple! Click here to join, make sure you follow us and turn on notifications so you don’t miss a thing.

You can also scan this QR code which will take you directly to the MCF Channel.

What should I do now?

We need your help! In order to spread the news and grow our community we are asking you to share the Channel on your Provincial group chats and shout about it to those without any other social media access. If you already use WhatsApp day to day, it’s quick and easy to follow us.
