Since the announcement of the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, a number of Freemasons have suggested ways for the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) and the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) to pay tribute to Bro HRH Prince Philip, a Freemason for over six decades.
To mark his decades as a member of the Craft and his lifelong commitment to charity, the MCF will be making a significant donation on behalf of Freemasons in England and Wales.
The Duke of Edinburgh was connected to a wide range of charities across the UK, and in June we will be selecting one or more of these charities to receive a grant to mark what would have been his 100th birthday.
