Somerset Freemason takes on the London Marathon
Somerset Freemason, Damien is an experienced marathon runner, and this time, he has chosen to run the London Marathon in April in aid of the MCF – a charity close to his heart which he has supported for many years.
I am a regular donor to the MCF, so I have always believed in them. I’ve done the marathon five times for different causes, including prostate cancer and MND. I thought this year would be a good opportunity to raise money for the MCF. It’s a great foundation and it’s not sung about enough.
In December last year, Damien participated in the Font Vella Lanzarote International Marathon, achieving an incredible finish time. He has since been dedicated to his training on UK soil, despite the weather conditions!
