RMBI Care Co. has been proactive in its response to the Covid-19 crisis and Homes are now in recovery. In addition to Homes continuing to be open to new resident admissions, from 21 June controlled family visits will start to be introduced.

Visiting areas have been adapted to keep residents and their loved ones safe.

RMBI Care Co. retains strong protocols to maintain the safety and wellbeing of all residents and this will continue for the foreseeable future. This includes temperature checks for all visitors and maintaining good supplies of Personal Protective Equipment.

Controlled family visits

RMBI Care Co. have also set up partitioned spaces for family members to visit on an appointment-only basis. Those visits can be arranged from 21 June by contacting the Home Management Team.

RMBI Care Co. will continue to work on new ways to safely increase contact between residents and relatives.

New admissions and testing

With greater access to testing, RMBI Care Co. has also reduced isolation time for new admissions or respite placements, provided the resident has received a negative test before admission. Homes will also carry out a second test on admission.

RMBI Care Co. retains excellent ratings with English and Welsh regulators including a number of ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Fully Compliant’ Homes which are published on their website www.rmbi.org.uk.

RMBI Care Co. also assure that residents will not be asked to pay a Covid-19 fee at any time.

Please contact the Resident Placements’ Manager, Debbie Hollands, via dhollands@rmbi.org.uk, who will be happy to answer your questions and queries.
